Water lubrication
Water is the ideal bearing lubricant because of its environmentally sound, non-compressibility, cooling property and unlimited availability at no cost. It forms a perfect (hydrodynamic) lubricating film with the lowest coefficient of friction. The film effectively separates the bearing from the shaft (liner), based on the principle of aquaplaning. Maprom’s water lubricated systems are non-polluting; not a drop of grease or oil is used.
This is not only a contribution to a better environment, but also keeps your operational costs low.
