Our Cutless water lubricated bearings, are well known for their second to none quality and durability. They are recognised to be the best available in the market, characterised by a low coefficient of friction and their inherent vibration dampening. Some of them meet and even exceed the USA MIL-B-17901B (SH) specification in which brass, rubber and bonding quality, friction and wear characteristics are specified and tested for.

Environment
As our bearings and sterntube systems only use water (sea-, brackish-, or freshwater) and no oil or grease, the propeller shaft systems, of course are inherent environmentally safe.

Lubrication will be provided by outboard water in an open system, either by natural flow or by force feeding, or provided by force feeding in a closed system. The grease and/or oil consumption is ZERO of course. Another important point is that the stave bearings can be replaced without removing the shaft which results in low labour and down time costs.

Our range:

	1. Johnson Cutless® rubber lined sleeve and flange bearings in Naval brass or non-metallic execution especially interesting in abrasive laden water lubricated situations and successfully used on many inland and seagoing merchant vessels.
	2. Demountable rubber stave bearings enabling bearing replacement without shaft withdrawal also especially designed for abrasive laden water lubrication situations, are successfully used on many inland and seagoing merchant vessels, cutter dredgers as well as navy surface vessels.
	3. Romor® IRadius Backed or Class III Dove-Tailed stave bearings with excellent friction performance and minimal deflection properties manufactured particularly for CPP driven vessels, mostly used on USA Navy vessels and world's largest Ice breakers.
	4. DMX TM Locking stave bearings guaranteeing the lowest bearing system wear at highest loads and lowest shaft rpm a resuccessfully used on cutter dredger applications, CPP driven vessels and highly loaded bearing system applications. Intensive testing of major water lubricated bearings available in the market by an independent first class UK laboratory, showed the DMX TM Locking stave bearing to be superior to the competition. Further the bearing exhibited exceptional acoustical and friction capabilities.
	5 . Romor® C Partial Arc Bearings second to none bearings for clean water lubricated applications and zero noise acoustic signature performance at both the lowest and highest shaft speeds. These bearings normally are operating in sub-surface navy vessels.
