Since 1969 Maprom has been on the forefront in Europe with the design of water lubricated sterntube installations. In the early 70’s the first Maprom closed water lubricated system was introduced on the Push boats of the EWT. Because of the unsurpassed 102.000 running hour lifetime achievements many inland vessels nowadays are equipped with the environmental friendly Maprom designed water lubricated installations.
